The Williams reconstruction project has caused an increase in cut-through traffic on the new Rodney Greenway. We will slowly loop up and down worst affected areas. The goals of this ride are to calm traffic and advocate for permanent diverters. We will meet at the Dawson Park Gazebo at 4 and 5 pm (two ride starts).

Meet at the Powell Butte trailhead on the Springwater at 7pm sharp. From there, we will ride a loop, figure 8, or similarly dizzying <60 minute route at a pace that will leave you satisfied. Due to the fact that it will be a looping course, any and all fitness levels will be accommodated. We'll crown a victor, cheer the arrival of DFL, and spend some time discussing further adventures, perhaps over a beer. All bikes welcome, but this as mountain bikey as it gets in Portland.

Meet the hard-working women and men who take care of our rides, and find a place to call your own “LBS” (local bike shop).
Great for folks new to the bike or new to the area, the ride will be an easy-paced loop, with stops along the way and returning to the start location.  Route will be mostly on low-traffic streets and neighborhood greenways.  A few sections will be on streets with bike lanes.
The ride is free, but helmets are required.  Kids under 16 welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Happy Halloween--spooktacular Montavilla Manses! see the Munster Mashup, Milepost 5, Terry Gilliam funhouse, bunker home, grotto and, as an extra treat (no trick!), art gardens (dinosaurs and elves)!  This easy, slow, laid-back ride (~8 miles max) is mostly fun with less edification; ends at the Laurelwood NE for beer and nosh (bring some cash). KIDICAL MASS: THRILLERIDE Link FF

It's back! Once again, Kidical Mass will celebrate the spooky season with a costumed ride to the annual Thrill the World PDX mass zombie dance performance.

We will meet at the new Dawson Park on October 25 at 1:45 and depart at 2 for a meandering loop around the neighborhood, ending at Irving Park to watch the dancers at 3. Been practicing your moves? Get your zombie makeup on and join in!

This ride is NOT a loop, but will likely conclude with drinks and snacks at Hopworks Bike Bar.

Kids must wear helmets. Bring lights in case you wind up out late. Bring treats to share, & wear costumes.
