AFTERPALOOZA WATERFRONT RECOVERY RIDE Link
Near Hawthorne Dock, Near Hawthonre Dock Take Trimet
8:00pm
We heard, you're like, totally spent from Pedalpalooza, but you still wanna see yr bike homies, but maybe just be hung over and friends and stuff and fart around on the waterfront like ya got nothing better to do, because really, why not. Come with low expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised, come expecting the moon and you'll be hella disapointed. It's a free bike ride and I'm organizing like 7 this week and monday gets to be lazy as fuck, it's a "day off" ride. We'll be lucky to ride more than a lap of the waterfront, but oh the stories we'll tell.

Meet near the hawthorne dock and bike ramps under the interstate.

Tuesday June 30

OREGON ROADWAY DEATH TOLL - JUNE MEMORIAL Link
123 NW Flanders St, Portland, Oregon 97209 Take Trimet (Oregon Dept of Transportation Region One Office)
4:30pm - 5:30pm
Total deaths on Oregon's road are up 40% over last year at 194 fatalities as of June 23rd. That is over one road user death per day.

We will memorialize June's road fatalities.

We no longer accept these deaths as inevitable or acceptable. We will be regularly reminding those who have the power to fix the system that it is time to put safety first.

The current transportation priority is expanding our dysfunctional road system. This is evidenced by the actions of many in key positions in the Oregon Legislature and in the Highway Dept (aka ODOT).

Let's change the narrative.

Some attendees will connect with the Cathedral ride later on http://www.shift2bikes.org/cal/#30-5184

HOLLADAY TO CATHEDRAL Link
Holladay City Park Max Stop, Holladay City Park Take Trimet
7:30pm
Yes you heard it, we're riding our bikes out 9 miles one way to Cathedral Park from the Lloyd, stopping once at the plaid along the way, then riding down the BIG hill at the park which you will have to climb your tired self out of at the end of the ride. This is a no frills old school ride that doesn't have restrooms and ends in the dark. Plan accordingly. We'll be hanging along the Willamette River and will probably have a fire and will hang till around 11 or so. Mutual respect is the law of the land. Respect each other and respect yourself! Make sure everyone gets home safe. We are out to bring positivity!

THE BARBUR WITHOUT BARBUR FIREWORKS RIDE Link
Portland Aerial Tram, 3303 SW Bond Ave Portland, OR 97239 Take Trimet (Meet at the lower Tram landing near Go By Bike)
9:00pm
This ride goes to view the Oaks Amusement Park fireworks from above at a new viewing spot just off Barbur Boulevard between the Iowa Street and Vermont Street bridges. But we get there without ever setting tire or foot on the road surface of Barbur Blvd. itself. This requires walking the bikes on about a quarter mile of woodland trail. Total roundtrip distance is about five miles. Road bikes are OK, as we will walk the unpaved trail section, but bikes pulling trailers are discouraged. Meet at the Go By Bike Shop at the lower landing of the Portland Aerial Tram for the start of the ride.

KIDICAL MASS CAMPING AT DODGE PARK Link FF
Dodge Park, Lusted Road and Marsh Road Sandy, OR Take Trimet
10:00am
Kidical Mass is going camping!
We will be returning to Dodge Park this year, a low-key campground at the confluence of the Bull Run and Sandy rivers.
Unlike most Kidical Mass rides, this is generally a kids-as-passengers ride. Total distance is 21 miles each way, and some of the roads demand careful riding on the shoulder. However, at least one or two experienced older kids have done the ride in past years.
Plan to meet somewhere in SE on Saturday morning before we head east as a group.
