MIXTE MONDAY Link
Laurelhurst Park, 3700 SE Ankeny St Take Trimet
7:00pm
Mon Dieu, its Monday, the most depressing day of the week for many of us, so tonight, lets get on the happiest bike ever made and ride the blues away on our Mixtes. French for mixed or unisex, the Mixte first appeared in design sketches in 1901 and was made popular in 1947 by Rene Herse and Peugeot. Strong, light and versatile, perhaps the best step-through frame design ever. If you ride one, then you know what I mean. We'll meet up 7pm at Lauralhurst Park (by the restrooms on SE Ankney) and roll out by 7:30 for a loosely structured, chill-paced 10+ mile loop around the Southeast and adjacent areas with a food stop. Mixtes are strongly encouraged but of course friends and riders with any bikes are welcomed.

BIKE CULTURE IS NOT BRO CULTURE Link
Irving Park, NE 7th Ave and Fargo St, Portland Take Trimet (By the bathrooms)
6:00pm
Let's meet by the bathrooms. We're sick of bike culture being dominated by men (specifically sexual harassers). Let's define what is consent and what is sexual harassment and what is completely unacceptable behavior in our bike society. So join us in this monthly ride to stengthen our presence. We are stronger in numbers. Primarily females and those who identify as female as well as men and others who are allies and advocates in our struggle to combat sexual harassment in the bike community.

ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE Link
Laurelhurst Park, 3700 SE Ankeny St Take Trimet
7:00pm
This one is for all the e-bikers out there. Although this ride will not have anything to do (thematically) with the movie, it will however, have everything to do with electric bikes gliding almost effortlessly around town and wearing Democratic blue. We'll meet up at Lauralhurst Park (by the restrooms on SE Ankney)  7pm and roll out 7:30 for a loosely structured, chill-paced 10+ mile loop around town with a stop for food and refreshments. This is not a ride for speed or distance, but a fun ride with ALL bikes welcomed (e-bikes will set the pace). We dont want to leave anyone behind, so be sure to bring patch kits, spare tubes, tools, lights (blue) and a positive attitude. Helmets are never a bad thing especially at e-bike speeds.

FALLON SMART MEMORIAL RIDE Link FF
Salmon Springs Fountain, SW Salmon St and Naito Pkwy Take Trimet
4:00pm - 6:00pm, Leave fountain 4:30pm, circle City Hall, ride Hawthorne to 43rd.
On Friday, 8/19, a teenage girl was crossing SE Hawthorne at 43rd when she was struck and killed by a reckless driver. This is another senseless and completely preventable death here on our streets. Our city doesn't seem to have any plan other than talk of "Goal Zero" Let's challenge them to do better, lets create ways as a community in which we can make our own roads safe for us once again.

Mostly, lets be together and ride in solidarity as we mourn yet another tragic lost.

This will be a slow, family friendly ride. We will leave the fountain at roughly 4:30, ride to the City Hall Plaza. We can leave sign messages and chalk messages urging for #ActionNotWords. This should allow for those who want to join up but can't meet at the fountai

HOLY SPOKES: RENT VRS WAGES "HOLY AS YOU DARE (NIGHT BBQ) "EDITED FULLY" Link
Compassionate Rides pdx, Colonel Summers city park Take Trimet (Meet at ball feild)
9:30pm - 5:14am, We leave at 11pm Pdx bike Gangs and clubs, Scattered days
"Come one,
come all!!!!!!"
Come in your Holiest garmets be the pope whatevs. Lets have funskis meaning and being change.

.

Critical Ride: is not critical mass. Sorry for confusion.
Critical Ride is a political ride only occurs on August and September every 4 to 7 years during elections.
This is a compassionate ride. Its not a ego ride its a Zen ride. Its just a ride for fair rent prices that protest that our wages are not enough. Those driving are dangerous drivers due to there high rent cost here. Face it it's becoming expensive. Many of us secretly live in a garage or in The families or friends houses to afford it. The lack of money causes confusion and we need to be Zen and enjoy what's around and work as Bards ,Mistroles, dancers ect to just ride through the tough times and ride to make change. Face it improving bikes lanes only raises rents and property values in Portland making my ride the most meaningfully enlightened rides of all pedal pioneers around. I'm professional cyclist bike messenger for 5 year in Seattle in 1997 to 2002.

Critical Ride cause:
Cause: The mayor is real estate agent and has cross interest in keeping rents higher than our wages enslaving you and me and diminishing our county little by little. Lets ride to put a damper on this mayor. Let ride for rent control
Critical Mas is a cycling event typically held on the last Friday of every month; its purpose is not usually formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and traveling as a group through city or town streets on bikes.
By holding up traffic we cause a change. By promoting this political events and hash tagging them we expose the meanings by sharing.

The event originated in 1992 in San Francisco; by the end of 2003, the event was being held in over 300 cities around the world.

Critical Mass has been described as "monthly political-protest rides", and characterized as being part of a social movement. It has been described as a "monthly protest by cyclists reclaiming the streets."Participants have insisted that these events should be viewed as "celebrations" and spontaneous gatherings, and not as protests or organized demonstrations. This stance allows Critical Mass to argue a legal position that its events can occur without advance notification of local police.

Critical Rides is not Critical Mass.
Its a holy organization organized by a shaman that works at A mansion that's historically was Miss Stubbs the Portland hotel owners from births of Portland. She was known as the nicest land lord in all of Portland. This House is on my rides. I garden there its in Ladd circle its a 6 bed 5.5 Bath

RANDOM ROLL & CHILL (ROC7) Link
Col. Summers Park, SE 20th and Belmont Take Trimet (near stone house.)
7:15pm, ride at 7:45.
perhaps the last one is hard to top in some ways... but possibilities are endless and we will for sure do something new this week one way or another. one day we will even head north again.

these rides tend to combine easy & tricky. never so very long but often including a small bit of trails / interesting maneuvers.

general format is a short stop or other opportunity to enjoy evening before dark and then venturing on to some perhaps unusual spot to chill a while longer, generally by the water side.

I may be interested in occasional guest leaders after #8.

This ride assures safer street by collapsing rush hour traffic with massive traffic interruptions via air horns bright Lights and freezing in massive intersection of 82nd and cross streets Stark and other suggested areas worth Freezing. This is a crucial ride.
This is a freeze protest.    But if we move swiftly and our numbers are 100 people and over this ride will make news and nobody will be apprehended. We do have rights of a car. So we also deserve Better bike Areas. We will freeze intersections by strategically blocking 8 lanes on all four sides of intersections for the time of one light set I decided. Means nobody rides. We form a bike circle and chain to enforce that terrific stops.
I take time from finding a room to rent to help make a difference in a city that don't even help me. So I'll hope you all respect my organizing and time out of my life to help a city that hardly works for me function for you.
